Thank you for doing dramatic movies like this. I haven’t seen this movie since the year it came out and you gave me a reason to rewatch it. Some of the accuracy of this movie came from Roman Polanski’s own memory. He grew up in a Polish ghetto during WW2. He escaped at age 10 when his parents were sent to the camps and hid out with a Christian family for the rest of the war. His father survived but his mother was killed.
