I watched the uncut reaction yesterday. I felt like we were going to agree on a lot so I paused after the reaction before your review to write my review then I came back for your review. I am right there with you throughout. I need to rewatch these this week before committing to this statement but I think you would really enjoy the original 3 Muppet Movies and they’d be a great fit for your channel at any point in the future. The original 3 films have Jim Henson voicing Kermit as he passed away after the 3rd movie. Also only these 3 were released in theaters with a theater sized budget. Everything after was straight-to-video and with a puny budget and his son voicing Kermit and it was always too bogus listening to anyone else voice Kermit. So avoid anything after the 3rd movie. (The Disney production reboot ones were good flicks and a tolerable voicing of Kermit.) Those straight-to-video ones are trash. That being said I could never take more than 3 minutes of bogus Kermit and have never watched any in their entirety as a ran as far away from those to a video store to rent any of the first 3. Thanks for a great 2022, Happy New Year! (Your song will play tonight.) Cheers! When the time is right give The Muppet Movie (1979) a reaction one day. You and the viewers will decide if you should proceed with The Great Muppet Caper (1981) and the Frank Oz directed The Muppets Take Manhattan (1984)

The Dark Crystal, Labyrinth, Legend, Conan The Barbarian, Excalibur all were made in the same 3 or 4 year window along with Raiders of the Lost Ark. They showed a range of risk taking not done today. In the Dark Crystals case it highlighted the genius of Jim Henson. He wanted to showcase his talents on a non comedy adult themed fantasy and he got to do it. It was a shame it was not more commercially successful. But it exists today as a record of his genius. Thanks for an excellent reaction video cheers.
