One of the issues (Anij (Donna Murphy) speaking too darn gently and quietly) could have been fixed by giving Donna Murphy’s character holographic subtitles (so that other characters in the scene (and us) could understand her.

people complained First Contact was too much an action movie and that it ´ruined´ Picard, then Insurrection gives us a perfect TNG story where Picard is exactly the ethical leader he is, and people complain it´s ´boring´. I for one love this movie
