Ollie, to accommodate Leonard Nimoy's (Spock) schedule, Part 2 was filmed first and then Part 1 after. They then flipped them in release order, which would be chronological order. Paramount + must have put them in production order for some reason. This was released 1 month before Star Trek 6: The Undiscovered Country. It was used to help cross promote the movie and this TV show, with Spock mentioning the events from the movie here. You should react to "Yesterday's Enterprise" (Season 2, Episode 15) in the same video as "The Inner Light".
