A lesser known John Hughes film I can reccomend is Career Opportunities. Btw Michael Schoeffling was Gooch in Vision Quest. He's out of acting now but there was a funny supplement on the DVD from someone that said most of the women growing up with 16 candles all had a crush on him. The actress playing the Prom Queen says that people still come up to her asking about him. Breakfast Club was better because it was a serious movie that was a comedy. 16 Candles is just a fun kind of goof ball comedy. You recognized John Cusack that was his sister Joan Cusack with the neck brace getting water. Btw you might enjoy Better Off Dead with John Cusack I think it was made in 85
