This movie was just an extension of the TV show that every kid thru the 70s ran home from school to watch. It was so cheesy that it was fantastic. That same score and goofy dialogue was shown 5 afternoons a week for 30 min and it was some of the best stuff on TV if you were a kid. It launched Adam West as a parody of himself, even when he was the Mayor on Family Guy you could still see the impact of this on his performance. Robin did so so many stupid "Holy ___" puns in every episode of the show. My favorite line from Batman Forever was when Chris O'Donnel said "Holy rusted metal" and Batman was like "Huh?" and he said "The whole floor...it's metal and full of holes... you know..it's holey" - that was an awesome treat for the older fans that they would especially get and love.
