That was super enjoyable! Your analysis about the "twist" you mentioned with the wristwatches is one I've never noticed before, but very valid. Like Kubrick, Hitchcock had no accidents in his films - everything was storyboarded and planned way in advance. I love this movie - the carousel sequence at the end looks like something in a nightmare. By the way, you've seen Hitchcock's daughter Pat before - she played Janet Leigh's nosy co-worker in Psycho! Once again, I love that you mention the music. This is a great score by Dimitri Tiomkin, and doesn't sound at all like Bernard Herrmann's scores that Hitch used in almost all his films of the 60s. I would love to see you watch Saboteur, which isn't usually listed as a HItchcock favorite but is a personal fave of mine because of some of the oddball characters in it. I'd also recommend Marnie (people are REALLY split on this one but I found it very haunting), and The Man Who Knew Too Much (the 1950's version with James Stewart and Doris Day). Also, I think you would really love Hitchcock's Lifeboat, which has that "confined space" dynamic you love so much. Keep up the great work!

Oh that was his daughter in Psycho!!! If it's Hitchcock, I'll probably watch it at some point on the channel as my goal is to watch most of his films! I am taking a small break though for Christmas but looking forward to more Hitchcock in Jan!!
