Fun fact they're trying to remake this but there is some dispute over who holds the rights. Kevin Dillion is the younger brother of Matt Dillon a major star. Kevin not so much. The 1st death scene with the football player was the last scene filmed so they could do everything they learned earlier in a cool scene. Yes Frank Darabont co wrote this.
