You might say about the swimming scene that they used big bushes to hide some big bushes ;-). People were still comfortable swimming nude together, especially in sex-segregated situations like this. From what older relatives told me, until about the middle of the last century, some indoor pools still had time set aside for men and boys only, swim suits optional.
