The ball of wood seems to be reconstituted from the destroyed log.

It IS a dragon, because as Rentt mentioned quite literally in E1 or E2, he INSTINCTIVELY KNEW it was a dragon, because dragons simply are that much more superior to insects like humans by definition. He literally even said that most dragons don't look the same at all, at least the big boi dragons are all unique visuals & abilities wise, but maybe lesser types of dragons have more same-y looks I guess? Also yeah what happened to the log is basically what happens to your ass if you fuck the combo up, as mentioned. Also since this is a fantasy world sacrifices CAN have legit effects, be it to stop some giga chad SSS-tier monster who can destroy entire kingdoms from doing that if you provide it sacrifices like it asks, or to power OP af ritual magic or w/e have you. Can totally see why such things would pop up all the time in randomass bumfuck middle of nowhere villages w/o any SSS-tier combatants to counter said beasts like Lord of X etc. It's because the villager literally explained that the Lord of the Lake recently STARTED TO DEMAND MORE & MORE SACRIFICES, instead of the annual one (they haven't actually had to sacrifice anyone so far, it's just pretend basically, excepting the first time it happened centuries or w/e ago when the village was founded, when the Lord of the Lake actually fucked off when they sacrificed a female w/ high mana saturation levels to it just like it demanded back then) they have been doing every year before the event. So basically it told me "bring em all the bitches or I'll genocide all your asses. Oh and bring have em come w/ treasure too, I guess I'll eat that shit too or w/e" (I honestly don't know why they'd buy that shit tho, since suddenly a MONSTER started to demand treasure for some reason, instead of just the sacrifices as munchies/mana bulking (I assume monsters can harness mana from their prey, hence why the OG Lord of the Lake specifically demanded a sacrifice of a female w/ high mana saturation back in the day). Like if it was a dragon then maybe I could see it as legit since that's the type of shit dragons are into as higher lifeforms, but a fucking Kraken? Nah miss me w/ that shit, obvious cap)
