I understood what was going on so I can say this, I don't know if they fucked with the pace but a 12 episode run was too little for the story they were trying to tell, I binged this in a day and I was surprised that it was over. If they would have ended it with the battle royal then they could have cooked something, but what do I know I chose to watch MF Ghost and Kanajo mo Kanajo over this.

while I do read the LN and enjoy it (at least enough to coninue reading it), I only watched certain scenes of the anime (and your reaction) because I don't care enough for the whole thing. So yeah, I can relate if you don't like (or hate) the show enough to give a good reaction and if you don't like the content you produce yourself, it is all right to remove it (at some point).
