The reason ikki said no to Stella was because she’s a princess and he wants to make his relationship public so he doesn’t get in trouble with her parents and also one big reason this never got a season 2 was most likely to sell the source material more than anything cuz back then light novel adaptations rarely got another season they were only made to promote the source material since anime especially light novels adaptations weren’t as profitable back then hopefully we do get one since the LN ended but I’m also scared because the fights get crazier and the studio for this show is pretty busy right now I would just hope they don’t give us bad animation cuz the fights elevate the show especially the next arc
