Ik this is off-topic, but the manga for Ancient Magus Bride has finally resumed after the 9 month Hiatus.

I doubt this is the “future world” and not the “another world”. It makes no sense tbh, how in this case people of the present wouldn’t know about empires of the past, about the existence of different non-human creatures etc? I’m more than sure there is a connection between “our” world and this magic world, maybe some path you can use to shift between these two worlds, that’s how people of “our” world came up with something like magic and dragons and vampires, because someone from the magic world told them about it, or they somehow visited that other world and managed to come back with the stories. But certainly not that “past-future” stuff
