It's what he actually wrote but if you remember he wrote it in Japanese and other earth languages and not this worlds language. So I doubt he expected them to figure out what he said...probably planned to use it at some point to get the girls trust again.

Oh man, people are going to be mad if the season ends where I think it will. This ends the adaptation of volume 3, and I suspect the season will end in the middle of volume 4, if they don't rush it. (I hope they don't) Edit: In the novels, Gettan had left Shadow with 'Yuu', a nickname for Yukime. Shadow thought he meant a yew tree. He's an idiot, but a lovable idiot.

It's looking like it will end where you think it will. But it is possible they can adapt all of volume 4 rushed. I thought they would based on pacing of the blood queen arc (3 eps) but this arc took 4 episodes. If they do adapt the 2nd half of volume 4 though I would be surprised since the teaser/trailers for the 2nd season did not show/hint that arc.

I think that Cid has injured Gettan's one eye and his clan when he was the Stylish Slayer, and thus Gettan turned for the Cult and forced Yukime's clan to join too. Gettan slaughtered Yukime's clan and left Yukime with a back slash, and then Cid healed her (and left the old scar, but her healed new wound isn't scarred). Yukime then worked from being a prostitute to being the top of the White Tower. In the end, Yukime injured Gettan's other eye and decided to leave him alive, but Gettan got angered with the eye injury, so he slashed Yukime again. Only for Cid to beat him and heal Yukime again.

The thing you skipped at the end last week was that Delta had destroyed the Black Tower and killed Juggernaut (The Other boss of Lawless City) Off screen. Anyway basically Cid expected Eta and Beta to decode his text but he expected them to do it MUCH later when all this had blown over and he'd basically make his own company and hire them on after bankrupting their company. Unfortunately he didn't expect them to decode his 5 different languages from his world so quickly. And he thinks someone else stole the money and that is why he's going away. If you think about it Cid is ironically a big loser as he wins just not in the way he thinks he is. If this story was told slightly differently it would be seen as a toxic harlequin romance.

I didn’t know where the anime would end since it’s 12 episodes and I just checked right now and all I can say absolutely peak. I can see why they did 12 episodes compared to the 20 from the first season

Looks like you agree with the comment I made on last episode , about the show not being the same if Shadow knew all that is really happening. Once again , no doubt it would be just another isekai , maybe slightly better depending on how the creator would handle his character in that scenario
