Solitaires thing about cards in the beginning is basically how Narita (The Writer) Writes all his stories, they are all about weirdos meeting and clashing with each other. BTW the fake out between blondie and old man, I saw that one coming its a classic Narita narrative trick. He loves his fake outs. If you like Dead Mount Death Play you should check out his other works Bacanno and Durarara (He also did the source material in collaboration with Nasu for Fate Strange Fake.) I thought the tall guy was the one that ripped that kid apart in his past, turns out it was his sister (Who is the woman we see at the end trying to call.)
