A lot of the stuff in Dead Mount isn't spoilers its stuff the show expects you to figure out without spelling it out.

The chat didn't spoil you. You just weren't paying attention in the beginning. It's a habit that you have sometimes, where you will talk over an important bit and not go back and then miss out on a key tidbit. The part you went back to wasn't the part chat was letting you know about. It was further back to the meeting with the cops toward the beginning. The black haired cop mentioned him when he saw him in the picture and pointed him out. TLDR; Joe not paying attention does not equal spoiler. I side with chat on this one. :P

It's told in a way to help you figure it out by watching and not in a 'you have to pay attention to everything' kinda way. Like in some shows where if you miss 3 frames, you miss some key detail. But ADHD Joe strikes again. lol

I unironically agree with this. I'd much rather Joe pause the video if he needs to talk or convey something rather than talk over an entire section of the episode, only to miss out on key information or details.

What's funny is he will often pause the video to go on an unrelated tirade about a personal anecdote or try to feel out a joke when he already flubbed the punchline but try way too hard to "save" it.
