This series as a whole is a solid 10 imo. Bakuman is the best work they did as well. Death Note's problem is that it went too long. How they ended Reversi felt like them saying that this is how they wanted to end Death Note with the conflict between L and Yagami. Death note lost a lot of it's drive went it went past that point. That was the true climax it felt like. Just seemed like the authors saying something about how the editors extended Death Note. At least that's the impression I got. Really glad you liked it. Would love to talk about it with you, this series definitely needs more love.

I’m so sad this is over. These reactions have been gold. Was fun having a nostalgia trip. Side note, you saw Hikaru no Go manga multiple times throughout this series. It comes highly recommended from me. I still can’t even play Go, so you don’t need to know the game at all.

Alwasy that I need a little shot of perpective or of never giving up I want to see this series. I like the reactions and all the path until the finale. If you want a similar expirience but from the point of view by how an anime studio works, SHIROBAKO is a nice option.
