A lot to unpack for this episode. >2:22 I think that the second fakeout was Cheng Xiaoshi slowing down in order to test if there's something unknown pushing small coincidences in favor of keeping everything that happened and what will happen in check, and thus Cheng Xiaoshi feels like he need to shake off the "inevitable" in the end of the episode. >9:35 10:32 Qian Jin (the lawyer) was talking to Chen Bin (the fall guy) in the earlier scene, and Captain Xiao was telling the deceased pregnancy news to Qian Jin in the later scene. >16:02 I feel like the color filter shift supposes to indicate lifting Qian Jin's regret for losing a unborn child here. >16:32 It's possible that the mother was being controlled by both of the siblings into the fighting and ended getting killed because of the fighting actually made to be occurred. As Cheng Xiaoshi was able to see a glimpse of the mother's perspective when he took control of Li Tianxi (the sister) back in EP6, it could be that Li Tianchen (the brother) took control the sister's ability (he said something similar in EP1) and caused the fighting, so that the brother confessed about his murder, and I think that he was both sorry and glad at the same time. Also I now consider that the "red eyes" is the brother controlling the sister, and using her ability to dive in the photo to control the person within in the present time, because of how the final moment of Chen Bin (I think) showed up in the sister fox' vision (26:50) from the tale story. >16:45 Li Tianchen could have used his ability so that Qian Jin is suddenly laughing along with him, or Qian Jin found someone who he can relate to for "murdering close one". > 19:45 I saw someone said that Liu Min was probably sitting in the limo when his younger brother was chatting with Li Tianchen. >29:30 The song is mix of English and a bit of Japanese. I think it's mostly talking about Li Tianchen and his regret, but the song can somewhat apply to some of the other characters in the show. > 30:15 Someone also have commented that this overlapping scene feels like Li Tianxi was running away from Li Tianchen, while Cheng Xiaoshi is running towards Li Tianchen.
