With the writers strike and everything going on there no clue when/if season 2 will be announced. I loved this show and your reactions were great! I shared the trailer of this to my mom who knows nothing about one piece and she loved it. She watched through it in a couple of days and thanked me for letting her know about it so I hope it does well with everyone. If not it was a great story I enjoyed it and I enjoyed your reactions! Logue town season 2. They were setting it up. It's right before they come to Logue town before going up reverse mountain. Smoker is too important to skip. Zoro needs his swords. And the Buggy/Alvida team up. Not to mention Dragon. So they haven't technically skipped it yet. I think it's coming in season 2. Solid 7/10. It's gonna be a while before we get a 2nd season though we have 2 strikes going on. And this is proof that we need good writers and actors for streaming. AI won't get quality like this done. Chat GPT can't write a script out of Oda's works.

Just wanna say they can still do Logtown, just at the start of season two which looks like it will be focused on Alabasta or at least the arcs leading upl to Alabasta

When One Piece anime came out a lot of people at first was turned off about the fruit system, contained arcs (sort of), the cartoony art style, and it just being different. Also the animation of the anime at times was terrible even for its time. But One Piece changed minds because it's just good. The common reception about rubber powers in anime was that it was really weak/childish and can't be cool. I think One Piece got around rubber by solely using the elastic energy aspect and springing back to normal, which is cool to look at. Majority of the time luffy is in his original form and doesn't stay deformed for long. (Although there's an infamous exception in episode 573 you can look up.)
