So basically the glasses guy has the same surname as Miyo's mom... that either means they're somehow related or maybe Miyo's mom was adopted into the Tsuruki family (probably to hide her Usuba lineage).

At this point, I'm pretty convinced that Miyo's power is somehow linked to how the grotesques (might have butchered the spelling here) act cuz every time they show them, the next scene is always something about Miyo (this time she suddenly wakes up after the attack on the civilian scene) ... might be kinda out there but Miyo might actually be controlling those things in her sleep
