Yo they are setting up so much stuff and I'm super excited to see where it's going. I'm pretty sure the monster at the end was Frankenstein's monster, they mentioned Lupin and the Phantom of the Opera which if you are familiar with the play is gonna be WILD if Phantom shows up. And since they mentioned Holmes I'm guessing the head bad guy with the M on his cane is Moriarty. So this is shaping up to be like all the old school monsters teaming up with Moriarty to form some league of villains or something lol

Why guess? They don't even bother to hide it in the credits, the VA is credited for the role Moriarty... I thought it was bound to be him cuz they mentioned Sherlock Holmes & bunch of other novel characters (Frankenstein is pepsi apparently, there was a news article if a person was possibly his descendant, and Dracula got pepsi'd too some years back as mentioned by Lord Godard during his debut), and the moment I heard that he told Godard to call him "professor" that nailed it, as that's pretty iconic alias of Moriarty's canonically as well. I see they are having Lupine and Holmes, Its a bit too early in the time period for Poirot though... BTW fun trivia, on the second Hyouka ED Chitanda is meant to be gender bent Sherlock and Mayaka a bent Poirot two of the most famous detectives in literature, Oreki is Lupine and Satoshi is Moriarty. Even if at one point you "guessed" the murderer, the important part is being able to deduce how, not by going by who is "sus." Which you didn't do, to be fair, my very long theory was off as well, but I got the sound problem, the fake alibi, and was trying to deal with the regen problem, but I failed to take into account the bottle, The Ice possibility, that a vampire could cut off his fingers to hide evidence (Was foreshadowed with how they talked about they use real swords.) and I followed other red herrings (To be fair there were a bunch to try and throw you off the scent.) by the way they said in episode 2 that Dracula was killed.
