Damn Gundam is one of those sneaky casually update the OP as the season goes Merribit is in the little window when Gundam launch in this and previously it had been Fumitan but also I realize the very beginning where Kudelia is holding that pendant also probably kinda foreshadowed because they were a matching pair so why would she be holding her own pendant

Yeah so Gundam is more than just giant robots they love their politics though thankfully its never about hammering some agenda home its always just part of the plot Japan gets that but I feel these episodes are the ultimate execution of what's know as a false flag operation you know someone is up to something give them an excuse to escalate possibly even feign the first strike and ruthlessly crush all dissidents their was a real life scenario where I'm sure they watched this show because their execution was flawless A day or so after an attempted "coup" they had a list of like 9k plus dissidents who just so happened to not agree with the current regime
