Yeah... I was actually laughing at Joe's reaction on that part. Sure, we're pretty tired of the whole "damsel in distress" trope but what did he expect Kaoru to do in that situation?

2023-07-14 08:50:44 Also wanted to put this out there... for the fans who've seen the OG series, I love how they put easter eggs and nods to the OG's first OP Sobakasu on this remakes OP. You can clearly see some shots of Kenshin with a very different art style, which follows his older art style and color palette from the OG series. Some scenes also mirror a lot of the OG's OP sequences as well. It's a very nice homage to the OG.
