Vending Machine is crazy but makes a weird kind of sense. It's a combination of slice of life and puzzle solving with hilarity. I feel there is a limit to how far it can go, but there was enough good stuff in the light novels before they stopped for one season. The diet coke/mentor trick put out the fire and also hit the eyes with acid (cola is actually pretty acidic). So the frog was significantly weakened and vulnerable. I suspect the hunters were able to hold the mix in because they were stronger than ordinary humans (and because of artistic license - in reality one would normally drop the mentos either just before or after aiming).

It's not explained, but he had 1 free blessing at the start, but now if he wants a new one it's super duper expensive. Music during boss fights sounds like it could be in Doom 2016 or eternal, i dig it. Happy you still have fun.

Maybe my taste are weird but I thought it was going to be a good one from the concept alone, then again I loved Kampfer, Date a live, and Infinite Stratos.

Actually the blessing he chose was “barrier”. The money conversion was a function he was able to purchase with his points.
