I assume normally it would be Snake to Snake action or w/e? I assume Gorgons can still freeze other Gorgons, so it'd be a sign of trust obviously despite its normally aggressive nature to have em on display like that

I think that this series identifies the concepts of acquaintance, friendship and kinship rather distinctively. Those concepts present and connect to each other on many occasions with Chise and Elias; yet other characters usually would engage Chise with heartfelt opinions without injecting deepen relationship, because of their varying insights and origins, into their conversations as they understand Chise's efforts and emotions.
