Nah, good show but I got Oshi no ko, Vinland, Heavenly Delusion, Yamada-kun, and Gundam over it right now

This sealed it for me, too, I think this just edged out Oshi no Ko for me. The last 4-6 episodes have been nothing but peaks and this ended so beautifully. And they just announced the 2nd season, too!!!

Also, Kana is probably one of my favorite side characters in both the anime and the manga. She does genuinely care about Kyo, in a non-creepy brocon type of way. And, of course, the other favorite side character of mine, Moeko, had to tease both of them at the end... seeing as she's the first person in their friend group to confirm that there's something between the two. Gosh, it's been a while since I've been this into a show... always looking forward to when the next episode airs. The only other show in recent memory that got me feeling like this is Oshi No Ko, which coincidentally also happens to be airing this season as well.

All I'll say is get ready for season 2. Season 1 is basically a prequel and season 2 will definitely give you kawaii heart attack.

2023-06-19 14:38:34 personal preference but to me just has better direction, ost, and characters. Not slow paced for me. Runs at a good pace. For me yamada-kun beats DIMH pretty easily. Both good shows but Yamada>DIMH personally.
