Not sure if this is important but I think the subs you are using is a bit off. For example at: 39:54, Mashiro said "It has nothing to do with you! Stay out of it" when its more like" You're an outsider! Stay out of it!". The correct one is harsher which makes Mashiro more in the wrong in my opinion. Although I say the subs are off, its hard to change because it seems like the translations on most websites are the same. The correct one I based off was on Kissanime years ago. RIP. Nonetheless, the subs are alright and the series is still amazing.

There was an official subbed version. Not sure if there is anymore licensing may have expired. It was on Hulu.

I have problems with Hulu too. It's also on Tubi and Peacock. I can't remember where I got my subs from for mine, but I have watched this show enough to know what they are saying a lot of the time and to know when they are making puns and to know when the subs are wrong in places.
