Oh Joe, you've entered the rabbit hole. The Otome is strong with this show. Im still not sure if its actually fully a mecha show but it'll be an interesting watch.

Season 1 is Decent (but has a very popular character so it blew up) Season 2 is Meh (due to studio change it is rushed and and got worse animation) Season 3 is a Train wreak (same as season 2 just worse) Season 4 is Good (got a better studio and got better pacing) This series switched studio every season.

I remember watching this a few years ago and thought what the hell am i watching. Well, eventually it was pretty nice to have something that was pure cringe in between other serious animes. Also this show gets hard carried by one of the side characters eventhough they appear maybe once a season. There are literally more people who havent watched this show and know that character than people actually having watched the show

Unless things change before S5, S5 is finally done by the same studio as S4 😂 Also yeah S3 last 2 episodes (IIRC) fucking ruined the volume they adapted cuz of skipgang. They missed important shit in the volume that debuts Super Shido smh...

Yeah that goofy super shido at the end of season 3 felt like filler back when i first watched it only to later find out by the LN readers that they rushed an very important volume into 1 episode which felt like a goofy filler episode :L
