One Piece gets really bad about dragging things along. And yes, it gets much worse later on because they get rid of things like EDs in a few more arcs so they have to stretch out the previous episode recaps even more so the anime doesn't catch up with the manga. One piece doesn't do a lot of filler so instead they just stretch out the content with meaningless recaps, which is just as bad imo. But You're not there yet. I'm a One Piece fan, but I can admit it's faults. Especially with the anime. The should never have gotten rid of the EDs That really hurt the episodes.

IMO Toei should fuck off & just ADAPT THE FUCKING COVER STORIES (many of them are bangers fr) to pad mango chapters to go until anime catches up, instead of doing 2x the frames for every second basically...

Skypia arc are op at its peak in terms of comedy for me.... absolutely one of the best arc👍 ....get ready y'all... things are gonna be wild

The drag defused the tension like Luffy discharged that cloud. Rewatching the ending of this arc on it's own without all the buildup is really hype though. And TBH the english dub does hit pretty hard on this part specifically. LET IT RIIIIIING!
