2023-05-01 20:59:41 Killing the Masters is the easiest way to win, because Masters AREN'T TRUE Mages (nobody rly is since the Age of Gods ended. Hell, most of the Servants are Age of Gods back when alive, especially Caster class ones, as they are more like what True Mages would have been, if not for the 24/7 more &amp; more deteriorating mana capacity in the world's atmosphere as centuries go by etc), so literally even shittiest Servant can assblast them to nothing, and since we know the Masters are what Anchor a Servant to the modern times... There's actually a few ways you could (in theory) cheat the system to summon the Grail (if you summon the Grail, you win, that's quite literally how it works), but it's not like 99% of Masters would have the actual knowhow or power to actually pull these "cheats" off in reality

Just to clarify, the Tohsaka's don't really have a clue what's happening to Sakura. Since we saw that Tokiomi is actually a pretty nice father I like to ask myself that if he knew what was being done to Sakura would he have done something about it. Pretty interesting stuff

Funnily enough, about your comment/question about whether Rin has ever seen a horror movie before (for her to understand what not to do), the answer is that no, she hasn't. Fate/Zero takes place in 1994 and magus people tend to stay away from technology. Even years later in F/SN she still doesn't even know how to operate a VHS (Fate Stay Night takes place in 2004).

Except that Tokiomi knows what kind of person and being Zouken is, and he also knows about their magic. Meaning that he knew what Sakura would have to go through, and likely suspected that she would be used to birth people more so than used as a successor.
