You know this anime is going to be fire because the VA for the MC does not join casts of shows that flop. Bell cranel, Kirito, Betleguese, Uesugi etc

I don't know this series, so the following is only my interpretation from the episodes context, so no knowing or intentional spoilers here: Pretty sure the cabin on the otherworld wasn't his grandfather's, the description on the door said it's destination was not set in advance, only becomes fixed after use, and only the owner could control the functions. I'd imagine then, that the door's destination would be different for each user. The world he finds himself in, may not even be the same world that his grandfather traveled to, and the next master of the door would end up somewhere else. If his grandfather actually used the door, it took him wherever it connected to, but he couldn't preset the same destination for our main Character. At least, that's how I interpreted it, could be wrong, I don't know this series.

I've actually read some of the fan translated books for this series, along with the 1st officially translated volume. As long as it stays on the course of this first episode, it should be a well animated junk food isekai. I don't remember it doing much if anything revolutionary other than the fact that he can go between the two worlds at will.
