like I mentioned it at last epsiodes comments this remake seems to have to have some heavy alterations like exchanging some characters completely etc... plusthey seem only focused on the main plot and ignoring everything else of the original 26 episode version - so maybe if they wanted they could have done it in these 10 already - hard to tell after so many decades... ************************************** any interest to cover the original show too after the remake is over?

2023-03-14 15:39:04 The OG anime is irrelevant, as the source material is the Trigun & Trigun Maximum mangas. Stampede clearly is at parts closer to Maximum out of all of em even this early on (this happens before Chapter 1 technically overall based on the factors so far) Also it's not like the original anime adapted that much, most of their episodes were shit like filler (i.e non-canon material), and the anime also delayed Wolfwood reveal too long (Wolfwood appears in Ch. 18, and the reveal of his allegiance is revealed in Ch. 20 or 21 IIRC)

Yeah Wolfwood is as good as they can get w/ this short of a timespan, they did say his bioadaptability was S+ or something like that when they augmented his ass, so he's as good as can get compatibility wise

ah ok never read the manga only as far as I can remember it was one of the very first anime had seen back in the day on the german animax channel (besides the regular stuff on the "kids" time slots with dragonball, poekmon, sailor moon etc...) and from the few episodes I can remember it was interesting/enjoyable (...)
