I do really hope that Grimgar gets another season. As far as I know, the final light novel will be releasing later this year translated into English. And yeah, Ranta was just… I really, really hated his character up until like, maybe the 10th or 11th episode I think. Then I started liking him a bit more. He deserves ALL the hate he gets, but he does eventually get a little bit of redemption near the end of the season. (Thankfully, because otherwise his character would be completely and utterly unbearable.)

I don't like Ranta, but I UNDERSTAND him and why he does the things he does. There's always people you have to work with that are gonna rub you the wrong way but it's up to you to realize that you can't change them and to make things go smoothly. Same with Mary, a replacement hire who has a way of doing things that doesn't gel with how you've done things. Also, I think from this episode the OP changes as well, keep an eye out for it.

I like how moving on is not an easy thing to do in this. It can take months, or even years. Some people can never do it.

Well, It's not like Yume bad at using bow. I've been doing archery myself for a few years and it takes a lot of practices and time for you to be able to hit a target, especially a moving one. The fact that they only managed to find and kill only a few goblins per day it means that she barely practising with that wimpy wooden bow as well (I hate using those during practice tbh). I like this isekai cause they basically showing that you need a lot of effort to master a weapon and not just suddenly being a master weapon handler without practicing and such.
