My thing with the prince, I don’t think he’s necessarily a bad person nor do I think he genuinely hates his sister. It seems he’s mostly just fed up of having everything decided for him which makes sense. He seems angry at his sister not necessarily because of her personality or anything but because when she renounced her right to the throne, she effectively thrusted all of that responsibility and pressure onto him even though that wasn’t her intention. I do think the prince is an asshat like yea I sympathize with his goals but he definitely could’ve gone about everything he’s done in a better way

Also I just wanted to say I’m loving your reactions to this series joe! I was also late to start watching it and man this series is really good so far. The characters and plot are so much deeper than you would first think and this change in dynamic with the story such as the otome stuff taking a back seat and seeing this unfold from a completely different perspective is really refreshing

If we go by the bits and pieces in the first 2 episodes, Anis's brother and Euphie would both be 17 since they've just graduated from the magic academy (presumably high school). So that would make Anis 19 since it was mentioned during the convo between Euphie's father and the king that Anis is 2 years older than Euphie.

Euphys dad said the red head guy was leader of the opposite party of nobles to him (in 2nd episode) and his son is part of the the male harem that set up Euphy so I think your right they are the masterminds setting up and manipulating the prince playing into his insecurities and jelousy of his sister.

Yeah of course she's older than he is, since he's been calling her "ane-ue" and all that (also since she's 1st in line which is why she basically abdicated from line of succession herself, due to various reasons)
