this anime is nice gives isekai a fresh start and really opens up the world for new isekai to try different plots and hopefully done right. it'll be silly if theres a demon lord in this one though because she shouldnt need to involve herself in with that typical isekai plot

Fantasy world better be glad it's not playing by real world rules, have her bringing over modern day illnesses and wiping out populations with plagues. There's a lot more dangerous things she could be bringing over than guns. She gets sick from something their side, she can just hop back to the modern world and hit a hospital.

I think the otherworlder's reaction to a gun is going to depend on the existence and acceptance of magic in this world. If magic is common and widely accepted, people may just accept her guns as some sort of magic weapon or artifact. A thunder thrower if you will. A lightning mage might make thunder by throwing lightning bolts around and they might assume her gun is something working on similar principles. If magic does not exist in this world, or is not widely accepted, then, yeah burn the witch becomes much more likely.

iirc from her first meeting with the world travelling being (from the manga), it did say she is now immune to sickness. So just think of that she kills any virus/bacteria that's in and on her.
