If I remember correctly, this show "portrays/reflect" existing characters from different anime. (At least that's what people say back in the day) Like Naoi has similar vibes with Lelouch MC/Hinata with Tomoya/Sunohara (Clannad) Yuri with Haruhi Shiina with Kusunoki (TWGOK) and so on

Yep that is exactly what the real charm of this show was to me , now I don't remember much from it because I haven't seen this in years (I'll re-watch it with u soon) BUT I do remember not being able to decide whether to cry or laugh watching it lol

These episodes along with 3 definitely start focusing more on the dramatic aspects of the show. The question of what are they even fighting for really makes you wonder how the show will continue. I am already trying to emotionally prepare myself for some future events coming up.
