At first I was kinda disappointed that the WHOLE 1st episode was preISEKAI because I thought there will be only 12-13 episodes, but NO this show will have 20 episodes. That means more world building, more plot etc.

Even though the LN(light novel) is the official cannon I highly recommend you read the web novel as well. The major different between the WN and LN is that the LN start heading in a completely different direction for the story In LN vol 4. Personally I prefer the WN over LN vol 4 story change. Also either some of the official translation is wrong for the LN, got all 4 book myself, but certain aspect were change which make no sense (example would be certain character name). As someone who start off with the WN before finding out about the LN long before anime release was announce, I'm not much a fan for the LN changes.

Not only was our boy hyping up the nature and combat potential of crowbars, he was doing it casually while in combat. I have had the light novels for this series on my to read list for a while now and have been putting it off. Going to have to bump those up to my read urgently list.

Dude started off as Tobey's Spiderman with his getup lol. He refers "Eminence in Shadow" to himself making me believe it's his ideal character/self and it reeks of chunibyo.

Ngl, at first, I was with you on how "silly" this show seemed, but not in a bad way. But then that twist at the end also blew my mind. This show seems to be somewhat mediocre in animation but it does have a very intriguing premise. Edit: Okay, so maybe I jumped the gun on the "mediocre animation" thing without staying for the after-credits scenes... the animation pops off when it actually needs to. Not bad. And of course, it wouldn't be a Kadokawa isekai without OxT doing the OP.

they got OxT for the opening (same band who sings in Overlord) First ep was really interesting showing a lot of his pre Isekai life.

This is so different from the manga source, and i still love it. Few pages turned into an entire episode with him being more badass. The truck-kun was not an accident.
