That is an interesting tidbit about Ameri's father also having a wild imagination. Never thought about it associating with their bloodline ability. 🤔 Ameri fighting the rat with Kuromu's song in the background has to be one of my favorites scene.

Theory about Ameri's Love for Iruma: It's not my thoughts, I read it somewhere in YouTube, but it's pretty interesting. Ameri's power is belief. If she believes in something about herself, it happens. This means, if in battle, she believes she's invincible, she is. We can see this in ep16, where she's fighting a monster and she doesn't take damage because she's telling herself she's the strongest, that she's invincible. That's her bloodline power. She tanks everything the monster throws at her because she believes she can, and it works. Yet.... here, we see that Ameri believes that humans are charming. That they have such seduction, that they can make anyone fall in love with them. And what is she thinking? What does she believe right away? Three things. A: Iruma is human. B: Humans can charm anyone. C: She is in the exact same position as that character and therefore is susceptible to a humans charm. That's why she fell hard for Iruma. Because she believes it. And her bloodline power is belief. Her own power got her to be charmed and fall in love with Iruma.

I could believe this theory. maybe in the beginning this was true although I feel like the more time that she spent with him she stopped caring if he was a human or not and just genuinely fell in love with him instead. He does kind of match her perspective of what a great demon should be like. The one thing though that I love about Ameris bloodline ability is that it makes sense now why manga gets passed down through generations in her family, they can’t understand the human language so they only have the pictures to go off causing them to fantasise about what’s happening and this could be how they train the bloodline abilitiy.
