Hey everyone, I really value feedback from you all. If you don't mind. I would love some feedback on the Patreon.

1. What do you currently like about what I do with Patreon?

2. What do you dislike about what I do with Patreon?

3. What reasonable ways do you think I can improve the Patreon experience?

1. I like that you interact a lot with the viewers in comments and on dms. The variety of animes that you watch, not only shonen or isekai or romance, but a bit of everything, as well as trying to follow a schedule on all the anime your watching, even with the difficulties of it. 2. The seasonal anime being bi-weekly, but due to the lack of time is understandable, and the effort is appreciated. 3. Maybe changing the seasonal animes to weekly and some non-seasonal to bi-weekly (except Code Geass, love those reactions).

FreshestAnime

The bi-weekly seems to be a common dislike. I appreciate your understanding. The only reason is just a pure lack of time. I took on too many anime this season as people said, check this and that out.

Victor Manuel

That is another thing that I like, you react to animes most people don´t, I consider it a really good thing.

1. I have only been a patron for the past couple of months, but I can tell you interact a lot more with your community than other creators which is great. I also appreciate how you typically go into a series with an open mind that allows for a greater variety of shows to be featured. 2. I have a love/hate relationship with Patreon as it often takes FOREVER to load on my phone. It takes a lot more overhead and time, but eventually a searchable website connected to Patreon would be phenomenal, IMO. For example, I like how Blindwave runs their channel through their company website. Maybe something to develop over a year or two? 3. I’m not too familiar with your experience and position on more classic 90s animes (ex. Tenchi Muyo, Gundam Wing, Yu Yu Hakusho, Trigun, Outlaw Star, etc.) but occasionally throwing in a series here and there would be great. And it’s not necessarily advice to improve something, but obviously it’s common to experience burn out when constantly reacting to several series at a time - especially if you’re editing everything yourself. I’ve seen a number of channels have to step away for a time as a result. I hope you’re finding a balance between work, reactions, and life in general. 🙂

I think the above comments already summarize what I like about your Patreon contents: you interact a lot with viewers and comments, you have wide range of choices available for both seasonal and non-seasonal animes. The Freshest show doesn't take like forever to react is a plus to me, This definitely helps to speed up and so viewers can vote again for the next show. Personally I can accept some seasonal shows can't be reacted on the releasing date. About bi-weekly seasonal, maybe some slow-pacing show can take this approach so I am not totally against it. I just hope for non-seasonal shows they can stick with the schedule. I understand there are difficulties and reacting to that much of shows is definitely one of the attactive points about your channel/ Patreon. Reaction video is a quality thing, I hope you can enjoy the shows. P.S. can you pin your "watched/planned to watch" list somewhere? I remember seeing that in previous vote/suggestion post by it's not there sometimes, thanks.

-For me i think u reacting way to many series at once i know u want to keep up with the seasonal series but sometime It might getting the shittin anime so it really hard for the audience to consume -You should react on quality anime with some help on everyone on the poll It will not be too hard to found a good one, focus on those series and clean up the watching list slowly so not leaving any cliffhanger on other series -I’m the person hated cliffhanger and sometime I got that feeling on your reaction, usually I’m waiting for you to finish the series I want to see, then I can watch it fullest without any cliffhanger and so waiting the whole month but u haven’t finished it yet made me little annoyed -I understand how these react bucket list consume time of your and it sure does take a lot of effort to balance between life and work P/s: I know I’m bitching about it some might hate me but that was mine personal opinion, and btw sorry for my awkward engrisk

Agreed, Joe reacts to a lot of shows that others don't which is awesome. I actually have no problem with biweekly, I think having biweekly might help Joe expand to more of the "niche" shows so i'd rather have biweekly reactions than lose the more niche reactions Maybe live-airing shows being weekly and older shows being biweekly should be a priority? With live airing shows, I feel like doing biweekly, you might be missing engagement from other live viewers looking for a reaction the week of an episode release? I can't say for sure all I know is that if I'm watching a live show and something epic happens I'm gonna come looking for reactions immediately. So there might be missed hype-viewing or something idk. Then again, I do like getting two episodes in a reaction because sometimes shows won't have much to talk about but with two episodes there is more discussion potential and it's technically caught up every two weeks anyway, so either way, I'm fine with whatever choice is made tbh. The most important thing in my mind is that you choose whatever is less stressful for you. If trying to make us happy causes you more trouble or stresses you out I'd rather you didn't do it.

FreshestAnime

Can you expand on the “watched/planned to watch” list? Not sure what you mean. Right now I have the schedule pinned. Maybe I can expand that post to include what you are referring to.

FreshestAnime

Next season I will be doing less series. This season I added a bunch that I wasn’t planning to do: Black Summoner, Pharmacy, Engage Kiss, Lycoris Recoil, Vermeil in Gold, Harem in the Labyrinth of Another World, etc. Next season I have 12 series I’m interested in. I will use polls to add 2-3 more seasonal anime to that list. Right now I’m doing about 20 seasonal anime

FreshestAnime

The only series I never finished are ones I just didn’t want to finish like Strongest Sage and BASTARD which I just didn’t like. I think I’ve finished everything else except Spriggan which I liked and I need to finish, just hard to find the time.

Buiphuc

Lmao that way worst than I imagine, well as long u enjoy these deadline I won’t stopping you gonna take a while to finish those

I remember sometimes you include the MAL link (?) about the show you already watched when you do the vote/suggestion post?I guess it will be handy if it's on the pinned post : )

One I love the full episode reviews. And the follower change to choose the next anime. But I feel like your almost kicking out to much content I don't follow any other anime content creaters but I feel like unless you get an editor to edit the patreon videos. I just don't want your personal time with you girl friend and just have some you time.

Aco2Draco

1. consistent and open-minded. 2. less double ep/ bi-weekly for seasonal shows. double ep for non-seasonal stuff is fine. 3. watch fewer shows, you are gonna burn out. I got burned out watching/Editing those too.

Just by having posts like this you're instantly better than 90% of reactors on patreon/youtube, most of them don't even communicate with their audience khmm khm sos bros -So again , I like that you're engaging with your community and that you're open to ideas and stuff , being flexible and not being stubborn is a huge plus for a content creator - The variety of shows you're reacting to is a huuuuge plus too , I've seen one too many western creators being turned off by literally anything and everything this PC culture is getting dumber and dumber : the anime shows a little skin? -ew! ; it's not just a battle shounen? nah , i'll pass etc. - I agree with the comments on handling seasonal anime : I think you should lower the amount you're reacting to every season and stick to weekly reactions... still give a chance to most of them only leave out the obviously bad ones and then after watching 3 eps of the rest you can decide which ones to roll with ... and if by any chance people want the shows you didn't even start because it looked bad/boring we can always let you know and exercise the 3 ep rule on it :)

FreshestAnime

I want to do YYH, just haven’t managed to find the time. Eventually there are 90s anime I would love to watch.

FreshestAnime

Yeah this season is gonna be very hectic doing 25 ish anime. Next season I’m planning on doing like 18-20 which should make things MUCH better for me personally.

FreshestAnime

I have an editor for the non Patreon stuff. Aco edits like 90% of the YouTube videos atm. I basically do all the Patreon edits. It is definitely too much content but I don’t want to just drop anything so I’m gonna push through this season and starting in Fall, I’m going to chill the fuck out with how much I do 😅

FreshestAnime

This seems to be a consensus across the bored. The biggest issue with not doing the doubles is it will be even more for you to edit 😬 if you can take it on then I’ll chill with the doubles.

FreshestAnime

Well I think that I will definitely need to limit how much I do going forward. I will try to go weekly with some of these biweekly series but I think certain series will have to stay biweekly. I’ll see what can be done. Whatever is being watched less (I can see views on Streamable) will remain biweekly and I suppose I’ll try to go weekly in the ones being watched more

Ashley Wakefield

Personally I think you are doing a fantastic job as some one who is kind of in and out of different reactors depending on shows they are currently watching having lots of different ones going at a time for me is honestly the best I could ask for makes me feel like I’m getting my moneys worth I don’t have any problems with the video player I mainly watch on my iPad and haven’t had an issue with it and neither with the bi weekly episodes it’s not too bad watching 2 episodes in one for me at least although I do want you to not burn yourself out Your reactions are just great in general you give good plot synopsis on the last episode, you allow the openings to play which i really like and filled with my kind of humour and as a plus I’m just mainly really happy you decided to watch Iruma kun as when I first joined your patreon it was one I couldn’t wait for you to react to. And just a final thank you for all the hard work you put in it’s massively appreciated and not by just me but everyone here

Touch Me

I think I can speak in everyone elses stead when I say we meant going forward regarding the weekly seasonal anime... You don't have to try and force yourself to put out the shows you're watching this season weekly... just post them however you want and whenever you can please :) And then next season maybe try the weekly method when you already cut back on the amount of seasonal shows :)

Aco2Draco

well, that is both good and bad for me, But I think the upside of the viewer's enjoyment is worth it. or let us look for another editor to help out. Joke aside, just do whatever you believe in, I will help out.

Aco2Draco

we could just cut back on the amount of anime you watch. XD

1. What do you currently like about what I do with Patreon? - like how you had a schedual for when videoes was coming and was consistent with it. That way I know when its approximately is released and was to think, now i have time to go inn and Watch that video, find it and Watch it. - Like how you Are innteractiong with in the comments selection etc. - You take us in on decision of what you are planing to Watch. - Likes that you have a varaiety of anime to Watch, allways has some you would want to join inn on watching. 2. What do you dislike about what I do with Patreon?  - i dislike starting a series biweekly. The first 2-3 episodes marks what to expect from an series and introduksjon of the journey and what to expect. Feel like biweekly or Tripleweekly? Mountly? is more afther The first 2-3 when you know more or less what to expect. - Inconsistansly, going inn looking, and looking, and looking if The video is out now, or now? 3. What reasonable ways do you think I can improve the Patreon experience? - When a anime comes out on Monday, insted of also expecting yourself to release it on monday, insted have it planene to be released on tuesdays or wendsday. Giving you more time for variable stoff to happen, eacier to keep up with your schedual. Without limiting your selv to a certenet timeframe that you have to Watch it and have to make the video to Get it out in time. - Limit the number of shows you are watching. Hard to choose i know, but insted of having an hard seson with lots of anime to Watch this seson and you exhaust yourself, pute to mutch pressure on etc. save some for the dry seson of anime insted. - Or put one show as an Extra or bonus, for only when you have some Extra time, but prioriterte theothers when you have less time. - Indroduce and start a series weekly the first fem episodes and go over to Biweekly, or Even montly if it is not a series you really ar bruning for more every week.
