I'll be sad to see this season end, I've always enjoyed the charm of Arifureta. But at least we got to see Hajime end the douchebag from season 1 without a single care. And sword girl is finally within reach of the harem!

Most satisfying episode, but I think a lot of that is helped by having read the ln first. Having the nuance helps here.

this was a episode i had mixed feelings before watching. as a LN reader I knew what would happen. And I didn't want to see Kaori getting stabbed. but Hajime bitch-slapping them all that I was hyped about also love your disgust when Eri kissed Kouki xD

Hajime isn't really a different character in the books, but you know more about what is going on in his head up to this point so the events have more of an impact. The anime just feel like a best moments of the LN. Yeah they cover the important bits, but do we really give a shit bout these characters? In the LN the characters are more fleshed out so you actually give a shit. I think that's the biggest difference between the 2.

Read the LN too (at least up to the legally available Volume, 11) Eri is a bit of a psycho :D But poor Suzu, she thought of Eri as a friend but Eri only used her... And Sensei lost at least two more students, if we count Eris departure as a loss as well, then three.
