How about the fact that he survived the fight of his life in the Orcus labyrinth after being betrayed by his classmate together with Yue? Or that she was also betrayed by her kind similar to himself so he feels a connection to her? idk why it's so hard to wrap your head around. It's funny that you keep focusing on the sexual parts, but if you only fall in love with someone after evaluating their body type, it's probably not actually love, just lust.
