This is honestly so confusing...

for S;G both dub and sub are great - at least the subs of the version I watched did a good job to convey the (geeky) humor and other stuff and the dub changed some (finer) details in terms of phrasing etc and created its own kind of watchable timeline - so that here it is highly recommended to just simply watch both dub and sub^^ (and play the VN :P)

Haven't watched the reaction yet so i'm not sure how confused you actually got about things during the episodes, but if Dubs are something you would consider, this does have a fantastic one as far as I am concerned. I've mostly seen people complain that Mayuri is not as good in the dub, but Okabe's English VA more than makes up for it. Also that some people don't like some of the references being changed to western ones, but I much prefer having pop-culture references that I actually understand even if it isn't 100% true to the source There aren't a lot of shows that I go with the Dub for these days, but this is definitely one. Enter Sub elitists in 3. 2. 1. :P

SHow has quite a slow start there are many who dropped this early but its worth to watch further

I forgot how absolutely insane the start of this anime was.. Good show but I can't blame anyone for being confused about that first episode.

FreshestAnime

It was super confusing lol I imagine that as we continue some moments from episode 1 will make more sense

Trust me, after few episode it will getting better

The show gets interesting slowly, and you will know where is the actual "start" of the show when you see it. After you realize that, you know why people call it a slow start
