Only because I know you’re the type of person that will keep going on about telling us what is up with Shouko already, I thought I’d just mention that you need to wait for the movie to find out what is up with her, so you don’t keep getting your hopes up. It is definitely worth the wait though.

Also, with buttkicker meeting up with her friends at the end of the episode, those aren’t actually her old friends. It is the girl from the beach that they helped find the phone charm thingy that she lost and a presumably 2 of her friends. So you can assume that she does find happiness with new friends that aren’t super superficial. I’d always noticed that they weren’t her usual friends, but only realized it was the beach girl now.
