Really suggest reading the Manga "Year One" so much stuff explained why he is the way he is or how he met Spear guy or warrior. the movie is contiunes on from the story and is luckily not its own thing Also Guild Girl always number 1 Yes the voice is Aoi Yuki -

If you want more Aoi Yuki why not watch her break through role as Hibiki in Symphogear Madoka in Puella Magi Madoka Magica or Victorique in Gosik . Symphogear is really good and finished with 5 season.

Never had the chance to read the manga or LN, but I would assume that if his choice of helmet meant anything, it would be that it reminds him of when he was looking through the floorboards while his sister was getting... killed. That way, his victories against the goblins never gets to his head and he is continually reminded of that time and why he has to kill all the goblins. Maybe I'll read the source material at some point though lol.
