What I really like about this show is how they respect boundaries. And in the case they mess up, like with Sasaki dragging Miyano off in this episode, they recognise it and apologise immediately without excuses and check in with them. It's great. <3 If you want to read a bl manga you can try the manga this series was made from. The story goes beyond the anime so it wouldn't just be old material. I also strongly recommend Silver Diamond by Sugiura Shiho. That one's fairly older but it has a great plot and no smexy scenes so it's an alright starter. Though i don't remember a kiss scene either. A great straight romance series is Vampire Game by Judal. The title makes it seem cringe but it isn't at all.
