You're right in wouldn't submerge, but except Myu and Kaori the crew is strong enough to easily survive that impact.

Great reaction as always, I believe that the trip to the volcano was a little more difficult in the LN so probably why they added it in as a short scene in the Anime, but overall the pacing of this season so far is so much better than the first. I don't mind Myu wanting to kiss him so much, as I see it more of her being an innocent child just wanting to give her dad a hug and kiss as she doesn't know the different

lava is way thicker than water, the boat would have been destroyed by the impact and not submerged. Either way, the first drop should have killed them. :D
