I could understand people considering the CGI offputting since it is a stylistic break from the rest but I don't get how it's "so bad" personally. Animating a 3d model seems like a step up from just 2d rather than a step down, but maybe that's just because I watched quite a bit of 3d animation before ever getting into anime.

to me this isekai was the show you shut your brain off and enjoy the ride without putting to much thought into it, just enjoyed the tropes and humor without overthinking things

It's okay at best. The only thing carrying this anime for me is just the MC. It would be more satisfying if the monster wasn't CGI'd so terribly. Makes defeating/killing them lackluster.
