Hajime fights a thick flower parasyte lady then a huge Hydra creature. Nearly defeated he pulls out a 500 caliber lazer beam rifle and kisses a centuries old vampire that dont look like one... This is the epitome isekai.

Yeah, the Anime was very much like "trail and error," what's that? lol I guess he goes with the European words because in Japan, Westerners and Western culture is very "kakkoii" or "cool". Otherwise, it's because he is an Isekai protag and he must name things in another language according to the Holy Isekai Bible :) Haha, you know exactly "why" ;) You are correct, the Anime does not do a good job at explaining anything.. it almost does not serve to generate interest in the LN because of the way it presents the story. Of course there are *many* more details in the LN of course, but if ppl don't get interested in the Anime in the first place, it almost defeats the purpose.

season 1 was trial and error let’s hope they learned 😂 Anime I costs primarily to sell source material copies.

Ik that this is old, but for anyone else coming along later to watch these reactions and is also just as confused with the levels in the Great Orcus Labyrinth, here is a breakdown of how things work. In the beginning, they state that the Labyrinth has 100 floors. Or rather, it is ASSUMED to have 100 floors. Our story starts with the students at floor 20 when Hiyama touches the glanz crystal trap that transports them down to the Behemoth at floor 65, the lowest anyone in the kingdom had currently gone to. If you pay really close attention to the title cards, some of them say what floor Hajime is on after he fell. For example, one of the first one's says something like "Bottom of the Abyss - Floor 1". Hajime managed to fall from the 65th floor all the way down to floor 100 or 101 and kept going down. As of episode 4, Hajime and Yue fight the Hydra on floor 200, the true bottom of the Labyrinth. The creator of the Labyrinth made it in 2 stages - the "false" Labyrinth which is floors 1-100, and the true Labyrinth: floors 101-200. So this entire time, Hajime has been fighting in the true Labyrinth and the most difficult part of the entire Labyrinth. Notice Hajime often says things like "This is the 50th floor since I fell", the important piece being the phrase "since I fell". Even if a first-time viewer assumes he only fell one floor (from 65 to 66), going down 50 levels still puts you about 15 levels over the assumed 100 level limit, so it gives you the hint that there are more levels in the Labyrinth than the kingdom even knows about. Hope this helps any future viewers!

I watched the anime 2 times and now watching the reaction but never bothered to find out what floor they are on since it seems like atleast 60% of the source material was skipped for the anime and later episodes it feels like they skip even more
