The lady was talking about him catching onto her leaving hairs and perhaps some other things in the food. She probably had a crush on him or something and was doing obsessive people stuff, perhaps hoping it would serve as some kind of enchantment to make him look towards her. And yes, the teacher did kill the cat killer. I think the manga has enough material to cover for a 2nd season by now, but I dunno if it's gonna happen.

could of been a better ending but i think it ended this way so a season 2 could occur. and it'll be cool if miko starts to help the spirits and defeat the evil ones in season 2 if there will be a 2nd season
