It is not the fastest paced anime, but somehow you want to see how it will progress, while you slowly learn more and more about the world. After every new anime I was exited for in the Autum 2019 lineup was a disappointment, this anime became a series i am exited about when something new is announced.

I was of the same opinion as you, i think the first 4 episodes i thought of dropping it quite often. But now it is my favorite series, so much so that i began reading LN because of it. This show doesnt really have action, but it keeps you on the edge of your seat. For now they need to establish everything around her and that is kinda slow and can be boring. I'm really happy someone new reacts to it, because you can count the current reactors on one hand

I think initially it felt like there was no hook but I realized the hook was her wanting to create the books. At least that's the initial hook for me.

Well, I am hoping something new continues to motivate me to watch. For the time being, how she will learn writing is interesting so they will have to find more from there.

I just binged the show a couple of days ago and I loved it. Wasn't interested because of the title but had nothing else to watch so I gave it a shot and I was glad I did. No action, just slice of life but that's fine with me.

I found the book aspect very interesting. Im hoping to "binge" the first season at least by Monday. Ill have ep 2 up today.
